Your practice's routine work, done by Bertha.
On your own machine, with your approval.

Bertha is the practice platform for European accountancy firms. It prepares VAT returns, chases client documents, matches bank payments and writes up client meetings, and asks one person to approve before anything is filed, booked or sent. It runs on a machine in your office, so your clients' data stays there.

It starts with a free call. Discovery is a separate, paid step.

Bertha's Today screen on a fictional practice: four things that need attention, hours saved this month and clients still to send documents.

What Bertha does

A working day, with the routine already done.

These are Bertha's own screens, on a fictional practice. Every figure is computed from the books, every finding names its source, and nothing is filed, booked or sent until a person approves it.

The books, checked overnight

While the office is closed, Bertha reads the new entries and flags what a careful accountant would: a possible duplicate payment, an amount that drifted from last year, a large first payment to a new supplier. Each finding shows the entries behind it.

Fictional demo data: the names and figures are made up.

Why Bertha

Not a chatbot. A platform that does the work and shows its sources.

Most AI tools wait for you to paste something in. Bertha works inside the practice itself, on the clients, deadlines and documents you already have.

Work that does itself, approved once

Bertha prepares the return, the write-off or the reminder and stops for one approval of exactly what will run. Every action leaves a receipt: what it read, what changed and who approved it.

Your firm's memory

Meetings, notes and documents, answerable with their sources across the whole practice. Correct Bertha once and it follows your firm's rule from then on.

Private, on your own machine

The models and your clients' documents stay on a machine in your office. We install it, maintain it and support it for one monthly rate.

Feel it work

Ask your documents. Watch the answer arrive.

A scripted preview of a real deployment: pick a document type, ask one of the prepared questions, and watch the answer come back with its source shown. Every document here is a real public record, open the original and check any answer yourself.

Who it is for

Accountancy practices in Europe with more routine work than hands.

Bertha works in eight languages and knows each market's VAT return, deadlines and e-invoice formats: the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, the Nordic countries and France.

Accountancy and bookkeeping

Chasing client documents, bank reconciliation, open items and period-end checks: the work that piles up every month, done in the background and put in front of you to approve.

Tax and filings

VAT returns prepared box by box from the client's e-invoices, and income tax and annual accounts tracked per client to the day, by each country's own rules.

How it works

From a first call to a system running your work.

No prototype theatre. We look at how the work runs today, write down what it would take, and only then talk about system size and price.

  1. Stage 1 of 4·Step 1

A call to see if it's a fit

A short, informal call. Tell us what's eating your week, and we'll talk through whether this is worth exploring for you. No charge for this, and no obligation to go further.

    NDA first
A mutual NDA is signed before you share any process detail.
  2. Stage 2 of 4·Step 2

Discovery, and your AI readiness report

This is the paid part, fixed in scope and price before it starts. We sit with the people who actually do the work, map what the system could take over, check which software and data each task needs, and work out which system size that calls for. It ends in a written report.

    The report is yours
You keep the report and can act on it with us or with anyone else. Finishing discovery obliges neither side to continue.
  3. Stage 3 of 4·Step 3

The machine you need, and what it costs

Discovery tells us which system size you need, based mainly on how many people will use it. The machine is included in your monthly rate, with no separate hardware bill. Size and rate are agreed in writing before anything is installed.

    Priced from evidence
Sized to how many people will use it, based on what Discovery found, not a guess.
  4. Stage 4 of 4·Step 4

    Installation and your first term

We install the machine in your office and put the system into daily use, starting where Discovery showed it saves the most time. Agreements run for one, two or three years; the longer the term, the lower the monthly rate.

Yours, and only yours

Your clients' data stays in your office.

What your team asks, the documents Bertha reads and what it writes stay with your firm. Every action is logged per person, and you can read that log.

A machine in your office

We install it in your network like any other server, maintain it and keep it up to date. It runs inside your walls.

Open models, run locally

Open-weight models run on that machine. No outside AI service behind it, and no licence that expires.

No lock-in

Open exports in each country's standard (XAF, SIE, SAF-T, UBL) and a documented archive. Your data, and everything Bertha made from it, is yours.

No usage pricing

One monthly rate covers the machine, installation, maintenance and support. Use it as much as you need. If you stop, the machine comes back to us.

Pricing

Your practice, your monthly rate.

5

One machine in your office; a second joins from eleven people.

80

The first 100 are in the base rate; each client beyond adds a little. The rate scales with people and clients.

Agreement length
Indicative monthly rate
€1,350 / month

About €270 per person a month, or €16.88 per client.

Discovery, once€2,500

Paid before anything is installed; it ends in the readiness report you keep either way.

Indicative, not a quote: Discovery settles the machine you need and your exact rate. Everything runs in your office, maintained by us.

Accountants do not need another tool to copy and paste into. They need the routine done, with the sources shown and the final word kept by a person. That is what we built Bertha to do.

Step 1 · A call to see if it's a fit

Tell us which work we should look at.

A few details so the first call is about your actual work, not a generic demo.

Step 1 of 5
Q1

What's your industry?

Optional, helps us prepare.

Another sector?

Built for accountancy firms first.

If your work looks similar (documents coming in, deadlines, routine checks, approvals) tell us your sector. We group the answers and tell you when Bertha is ready for you.

We use these details only to tell you when Bertha is ready for your sector. Please do not include anything about your clients.

Bertha, by Leyoda. The practice platform that works on your own machine.

It starts with a short call to see if it's a fit, free and without obligation. If it makes sense, a paid Discovery follows: we sit with the people who do the work, map what Bertha takes over first, and give you a written readiness report you keep either way.
